Capital Linen Service (CLS) operates as a commercial business unit within the ACT Government's Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate.
We have extensive experience and knowledge of the linen hire and laundry services industry and have been delivering linen services and operating an industrial factory across the Canberra region since 1978, servicing more than 120 clients in Canberra and its surrounds.

As a Production Supervisor at Capital Linen Service, you will play a key hands on role in leading daily operations across our laundry facility. You'll be responsible for coordinating production teams, ensuring service delivery to hospitals, aged care, and health clients, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Of This Position Are To
* Lead and supervise staff across key production areas such as Finishing, Soiled Sorting, Washroom, and Packing/Dispatch.
* Manage rosters, leave planning, and performance development plans.
* Monitor production flow and resolve operational issues to meet daily delivery targets.
* Promote a safe and respectful workplace culture through toolbox talks and WHS compliance.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent client service.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements
* Experience in a commercial laundry operation is highly desirable.
* An Australian (Class C) driver's licence is essential.
* Availability to work weekends and public holidays is mandatory.
* Holding a current First Aid qualification or willingness to be trained is mandatory.
* Proficient in the use of office technology such as Outlook, Word, Excel and database systems is required
* This position requires a pre-employment medical and police check.
