Responsibilities: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Support nursing staff in administering medications and treatments as directed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Assist in the mobilisation and transfer of patients as required. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare or nursing environment. Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent qualification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
