Role Overview
As a Healthcare Administration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our practice. You will be predominantly working at our Bunbury location but from time to time may need to cover one of our other Southwest clinics. You will handle various administrative tasks while providing outstanding service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule patient appointments efficiently to optimise clinic resources.
* Respond promptly to patient inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
* Manage invoicing and payments from patients, employers, and insurers with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Review and distribute incoming correspondence to the appropriate contacts.
* Prepare outgoing correspondence, including treatment reports, letters, and referrals, adhering to established protocols.
* Collaborate with allied health professionals to coordinate patient appointments effectively.
Selection Criteria
* Previous experience in medical administration or reception, demonstrating proficiency in relevant software and systems.
* Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
* High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
