About the Role
DOME Café in Geraldton is a dine‐in restaurant‐cum‐café located on the Geraldton foreshore. We are urgently looking to recruit a full‐time cook with relevant qualification and experience to join our team and commence work soonest possible.
Responsibilities & Expectations
* Preferably an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
* Intention to work and stay in Geraldton in the long‐term.
* At least 1 year's experience as a cook/chef in Australia.
* High standard of food presentation and pride in culinary skills.
* Supervisory skills to manage the kitchen staff.
* Passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand.
* Experience in controlling food costs and portions.
* Availability to work on most days, including weekends.
* Ability to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies.
* Fanatical about a tidy, clean, and hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained.
* Happy personality maintained under pressure.
* Team player with long‐term intention to work with us.
