About the role
In this dynamic leadership position you will work closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Director to support the effective day‐to‐day running of the clinic and contribute to a high‐performing, patient‐focused environment. You will bring advanced capability in CT, with additional experience in modalities such as MRI or mammography highly regarded. Your expertise will drive clinical excellence, guide team practice and uphold the highest standards of care.
You will play a key role in the clinical and commercial success of the practice by:
* Overseeing daily workflow, rostering and staffing coordination
* Monitoring service quality and driving continuous improvement
* Supporting the delivery of strategic and operational objectives
You will also ensure a well‐coordinated and responsive service that facilitates clear communication, supports team alignment and maintains effective systems, processes and resource management. You will work closely with clinical, nursing and administrative teams to deliver a seamless, positive experience for patients and referrers, and step in to provide operational support in the absence of the Operations Manager.
About You
* Rock solid leadership skills with demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring and developing team members
* Higher academic achievements such as a postgraduate qualification
* Proven experience as a Deputy Chief MIT or senior radiographer ready to take the next step in your career
* Clinical excellence in providing high‐quality imaging examinations across a broad patient mix, with a strong focus on patient safety and welfare
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster positive relationships with staff, patients and key stakeholders
* Sound problem‐solving and decision‐making ability, confident to exercise initiative and professional judgment
* Strong commercial and operational acumen, able to allocate resources strategically, set priorities, optimise workflows and manage budgets effectively while maintaining the highest standards of patient care
* Current AHPRA or ASAR registration with a commitment to ongoing professional development
