Job Overview
Make an impact with NTT DATA as a Data Centre Engineer in our Technology Transformation business unit. You will work with leading industry vendors to deliver quality networking outcomes for clients, focusing on cloud, storage and virtualization solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure client satisfaction by engaging with clients on site and addressing complex solution requirements.
* Compile and maintain project administration, including design documents, implementation plans, test plans, and transition documentation.
* Support Project Managers in updating key project control documentation.
* Execute installations and migrations to a high level of quality and stringent change control.
* Apply specialist knowledge of discovery, design, implementation/migration, and test planning.
* Collaborate within a support team, contributing to project success and the adoption of NTT's Primer methodology.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of Professional Services & Project Delivery experience.
* Strong understanding of business principles.
* Excellent client engagement, communication and relationship‐building skills.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving ability; able to work well under pressure.
* Subject‐matter expertise in vendor technologies:
o Cloud transform/migrate: Azure; ExpressRoute, Multicloud Provisioning Tool, Cloud Discovery Tool (e.g., Device 42).
o On‐premises: VMWare (vCenter, ESX, NSX‐T/V).
o Server/Storage: Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp – experience with at least two of the three.
o Data Protection: Commvault, Veeam, Dell Avamar – experience with at least two of the three.
* Collaborative team player with proactive problem‐solving orientation.
* Self‐starter who embraces continuous learning and development.
Working Environment
Hybrid Working – a mix of in‐office and remote work, depending on project needs.
