Support Worker – Home and Community Care

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to assist older people live at home independently for as long as possible. You will travel around Bathurst and surrounding suburbs to support clients with their daily needs.
Day‐to‐day role
* Support and connect with clients assisting with day‐to‐day in‐home tasks such as cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
* Provide transport to appointments and shopping venues
* Prepare meals
* Offer social support or respite for family/carers
* Assist with personal care including showering and dressing, provided you are qualified/fully trained
Success factors
* A genuine passion for providing high‐quality care to older Australians in the community
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* Reliability and teamwork
* Understanding of workplace health and safety
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support is highly regarded (but not essential)
* Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
