Job Description
Jinning Testing & Inspection is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. We specialise in delivering competitive, high-quality, and timely analytical services to clients in the geochemistry and hard rock mining industry. Using industry-standard instrumentation, we provide customised laboratory solutions with efficient turnaround times.
Our services include, but are not limited to: Gold and platinum testing, Trace element analysis, Wet chemical analysis, On-site sample preparation, laboratory services, and site audits.
Key Requirements
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, geochemistry, or related discipline).
* At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
* At least one (1) year of experience in geochemistry or metal analysis.
* Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
About the Role
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Responsibilities
* Sorting and preparing client samples using appropriate preparation techniques for laboratory analysis.
* Conducting laboratory testing using various analytical methods.
* Recording and reporting raw data from laboratory analysis to supervisors.
* Assisting in the preparation of technical and analytical reports for clients.
* Performing routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
* Assisting in training junior staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Remuneration
Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
