Volunteer as an Activity Helper
For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
We are looking for
* Warm and energetic person who loves supporting older adults to stay active, social and engaged
* You enjoy variety and want to make a positive difference in the lives of older adults
About the role
* Assist our Bethanie Peel staff in a range of fun activities to improve residents' wellbeing
* Help engage residents in a weekly bingo, arts and crafts, quizzes, gardening, shopping trips, sing‐a‐long or simply enjoying a cup of tea; no one day is the same

Commitment
Regular – more than 6 months. Weekday mornings from 9:30 am or afternoons from 1:00 pm for a few hours, with a minimum commitment of six months.
Training
Volunteers undertake online Infection Control and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
