The Meat Safe WA, a reputable and growing business located in Subiaco, dedicated to high-quality meat preparation and excellent customer service. We're looking for a skilled and motivated butcher to join our full-time team and help us deliver the finest meat products to our valued customers. About the Role
As part of our team, you'll be responsible for a variety of hands-on duties in meat. This role is suited to a trade-qualified butcher who enjoys working in a collaborative, customer-focused retail environment. Key Responsibilities
? Select, cut, trim, mince, and grind meat for sale or by customer request ? Prepare marinated, seasoned, cured, and crumbed cuts of meat ? Operate meat processing machinery (grinders, mincers, sausage fillers, etc.)
? Mix seasonings and prepare pickles for use on meat ? Operate smoking chambers, kettles, and cooking vats ? Provide advice to customers on cuts, cooking methods, and suitability
? Assist with menu planning, production scheduling, and cost estimating as required Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Meat Processing (or equivalent trade qualification)
Experience in retail or production butchery, preferably with exposure to meat processing Strong knowledge of meat cuts, display techniques, and hygiene standards Able to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team Excellent attention to detail and pride in product quality
