We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join the Change Delivery team in Banking which provides a range of transactional banking services to Australian Government departments and agencies, as well as a number of overseas central banks and institutions.
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will ensure new and enhanced systems, services, configurations, packages and interfaces perform as expected, and the risks associated with deployment are adequately identified, mitigated and accepted by all relevant parties.
Responsibilities
* Undertake the testing of changes to enhance and expand Banking's systems and products (e.g. new real‐time payment capabilities driven by industry initiatives).
* Work in a dynamic team environment which adopts an agile delivery framework reporting directly to the Project Test Lead.
* Consistently demonstrate the application of testing standards, processes and best practices.
* Identify improvement opportunities in testing including planning, processes and automation to ensure testing delivers high‐quality outcomes of system integrity, stability and reliability.
* Liaise with other sections in Banking, operational staff in other departments, financial institutions and customers on their testing requirements.
* Effectively communicate verbally and via correspondence (e.g. email narrative and documentation) to deliver successful outcomes as a team.
* Actively participate and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
* Self‐starter who is highly motivated and driven individual with strong experience in all phases of testing (e.g. functional).
* Preferably with a background in banking and/or payment solutions.
* Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile delivery frameworks.
* Desirable: knowledge and hands‐on experience in the delivery of test automation frameworks and tools and testing in an Azure Cloud environment.
* Experience working in large programmes of work interacting with multiple different teams and vendors.
