The Role: Senior Technical Architect
Are you a highly motivated architect who thrives on the technical execution of commercial projects? Do you love construction detailing and getting a building built right? If you're passionate about Revit and ready to lead a documentation team, we want to hear from you!
We're looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Architect who will be the technical backbone of our commercial projects, working directly under the Principal Architect. This role is focused on the technical documentation, detailing, and execution—it is not a design-focused role.
What You'll Bring
* A minimum of 5 years of commercial architecture experience in Sydney.
* Exceptional Revit proficiency is a must.
* A true love for construction documentation and detailing, with excellent knowledge of building products and Australian Standards.
* A proven ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with external consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
* Leadership experience—you'll be managing a drafting team, including our talented juniors.
* Technical expertise and strong familiarity with industry regulations and documentation processes.
* Preferably a Registered Architect in NSW.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive construction documentation packages.
* Manage and mentor the drafting team for timely and accurate documentation delivery.
* Serve as the key coordinator for external consultants (structural, services, etc.).
* Develop complex construction details and specifications.
* Ensure all documentation complies with relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
