The role:
As a Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and delivering projects that improve the systems and tools our workforce relies on every day. From implementing new applications to upgrading critical components, your work will ensure our healthcare teams have the resources they need to provide world-class care.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the definition, documentation, and successful completion of complex project(s) in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
* Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
* Oversee and manage the monitoring, controlling, and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans, deliverables, and schedules.
* Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
* Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multifaceted team(s).
* Provide advice to define technology roadmaps and solutions, including working with teams that are integrating other applications into the SAP systems.
Are you right for this role?
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
* Proven experience in the management and delivery of complex enterprise software project(s), preferably with SAP S/4HANA or ECC6, Infor Workforce Management or other similar enterprise solutions, and preferably in the healthcare industry.
* Expertise in, and application of, appropriate project management methodologies including PRINCE2, producing a high standard of project management products, from project establishment through to delivery and closeout.
* Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
* Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
* Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring multifaceted technical and functional IT resources.
* Proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
