About the role Join the Women's and Children's Hospital as a laboratory technician and contribute to both technical and administrative aspects of routine clinical and research functions of the Gastroenterology Laboratory.
Key duties of the role Contributing to the maintenance of standards of excellence in both the technical and administrative aspects of the routine clinical and research functions of the Gastroenterology Clinical Laboratory Service.
Providing a Breath Hydrogen testing service under the direction of the Senior Medical Scientist Contributing to the Gastroenterology Clinical Laboratory Service quality assurance programs as well as the immediate and reliable communication of routine diagnostic results to the appropriate medical personnel.
Contributing to team atmosphere where communication, initiative and pro-active qualities are essential.
Skills and Experience A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
