Geek Xpress is hiring a Casual/Temporary Computer Technician in Croydon, VIC.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and IT devices.
* Troubleshoot software, hardware, email, and internet issues.
* Install and configure Windows, antivirus, printers, and networks.
* Provide on‐site technical support to customers.
* Set up Wi‐Fi, routers, and network troubleshooting.
* Assist customers with virus removal, system optimisation, and data backup.
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during visits.
Requirements
* 1 year of relevant work experience.
* Previous experience as a Computer Technician / IT Support Technician.
* Strong knowledge of Windows PCs, laptops, printers, networking, and troubleshooting.
* Good communication and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage on‐site jobs.
* Must have a vehicle for travelling to customer locations.
* Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
* Valid driver's licence preferred.
