Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist/Occupational Therapist. Based in Maitland, NSW, this position offers the flexibility of both in-office and work-from-home opportunities. Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualised care plans. The successful candidate will also design and implement therapeutic strategies to address dysphagia, language, and communication needs, while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Speech Therapy, Speech, and related therapeutic interventions
* Experience with diagnosing and managing Dysphagia, Communication Disorders, and Language Disorders
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals
* Ability to create individualised therapy plans and tailor approaches to meet client needs
* Relevant qualifications or a degree in Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
* Certification or eligibility for certification/licensure as required by local regulations
* Familiarity with working in a hybrid environment and managing both in-person and remote work modalities
