Head of Middle Learning Community – Permanent Full‐time
Hillcrest Christian College invites applications for a passionate and visionary Educational Leader to join the Senior Leadership Team as Head of Middle Learning Community.
This leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of teaching and learning, student wellbeing, staff leadership and the daily operations of the Middle Learning Community, while fostering a Christ‐centred culture of excellence, accountability and care.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead and support staff in delivering high‐quality teaching, contemporary curriculum practices, and meaningful learning experiences aligned with the College's Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Priorities.
* Mentor emerging leaders, strengthen partnerships with families, lead strategic initiatives and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement grounded in faith, collaboration and service.
* Support staff through strong relational capability and professional development to uphold a Christ‐centred community.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher with current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
* Demonstrated educational leadership experience with the ability to lead, mentor and develop staff.
* Strong relational and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic partnerships with students, families and colleagues.
* Strategic thinking, initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Passion for Christian education and a strong commitment to the College's Vision, Mission and Values.
* Relevant qualifications and experience as outlined in the Employment Pack.
