Position: Site Supervisor Location: Overseeing onsite operations in Northside Brisbane. Travel: Head office located on the Gold Coast, travel required once a fortnight. Position Overview: As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee 20-25 investment home builds at one time. You will be based on one land estate where these builds will occur rather than a geographical spread. You will ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and high-quality standards. You’ll lead the team, manage subcontractors, coordinate materials, and ensure compliance with safety and regulations. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and a passion for quality homes are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery: Supervise residential home construction to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. On-Site Coordination: Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople for smooth day-to-day operations. Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to address any on-site issues quickly. Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain standards. Schedule Management: Monitor project progress, adjusting resources to meet deadlines and milestones. Documentation: Ensure timely completion of permits, inspections, and regulatory documentation. Material Coordination: Oversee material delivery, ensuring correct quantities and timely arrivals. Budget Management: Keep track of site budgets, control costs, and minimise wastage. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality workmanship and professionalism. Key Requirements: Experience: Carpentry background or 2 years experience as a Site Supervisor Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, processes, and safety regulations. Planning Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction plans and ensure adherence to specifications. Organisation: Excellent time-management skills to juggle multiple projects efficiently. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate subcontractors and tradespeople for optimal results. Communication: Clear and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues promptly on-site. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Certifications: White Card and valid driver’s license are essential. Qualifications: A trade qualification or degree in construction management is desirable.
