Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the end-to-end export process from China and import process into Australia (booking, customs clearance, documentation, quarantine), and manage ocean and land transport providers.
* Develop and track monthly finished vehicle shipping plans to meet sales demand and inventory targets.
* Manage parts importation and reverse logistics, including warranty parts returns.
Inventory & Demand Planning
* Create demand plans for vehicles and parts based on sales forecasts, historical data and market activities, avoiding both stockouts and overstock situations.
* Maintain inventory records for port, bonded warehouse and regional warehouse locations, and organise regular stocktakes.
* Monitor logistics KPIs (on-time delivery rate, damage rate, demurrage charges) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Cost Control
* Ensure all import processes comply with Australian Border Force (ABF) requirements and relevant vehicle import regulations.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, hauliers and warehousing providers, and control logistics cost per unit.
Qualification
* s5+ years of experience in planning or logistics within the automotive or bulk commodity sectors, including at least 1 year of hands-on Australian import/export operations experience
* .Solid knowledge of Australian customs clearance procedures, VIN compliance requirements, and supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI)
* .Strong cross-department communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with headquarters planning, sales and after-sales team
