Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based nursing care to patients requiring surgical and trauma management.
- Deliver postoperative care for orthopaedic, plastics, and reconstructive procedures.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
- Manage complex wound care, pain management, and mobility/rehabilitation support.
- Effectively document and communicate patient status and care plans.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience.
- Capacity to provide person‑centred, family inclusive, culturally sensitive care to patients accessing health services.
- Ability to organise and prioritise nursing work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Effective teamwork within a multi‐disciplinary environment.
- Flexibility to work a roster including day, evening, night, and on‑call shifts across all days of the week.
