Relief Disability Support Education Assistant
Mandurah Baptist College is seeking dedicated and compassionate Relief Disability Support Education Assistants to provide support for a student with additional needs within an Early Childhood classroom. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring the student's access to and engagement in the learning environment, supporting and encouraging independence, and helping to grow and meet developmental goals. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with teachers, families, and health professionals to provide comprehensive care for the student, particularly in managing complex health conditions and daily living activities.
This is a casual relief position with work offered on an as‐needed basis.
Responsibilities
* Support student with additional needs in an Early Childhood classroom.
* Ensure student's access to and engagement in the learning environment.
* Encourage and facilitate independence in daily living activities.
* Assist in managing complex health conditions and daily care.
* Collaborate with teachers, families and health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Profile
* Written confirmation of faith from your church pastor/minister.
* Digital copies of all academic records and qualifications.
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* National Police Certificate (NPC).
* Valid Australian work rights.
* Willingness to uphold and live the Mission, Vision and Christian values of Mandurah Baptist College.
