As a Golf Course Officer, you'll be the welcoming face of Hamersley Public Golf Course—helping golfers enjoy a seamless, safe and memorable day on the course or driving range.
You'll be part of a supportive team that values good communication, teamwork and professional standards.
What You'll Be Doing
You will:
* Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
* Manage tee bookings, online reservations and general enquiries
* Assist customers on the driving range, including new technology/game play
* Marshal the course to support pace of play and assist golfers
* Handle green fees, cart hire and pro shop purchases
* Maintain practice facilities, including range ball management
* Resolve customer issues and escalate when required
* Keep pro shop, kiosk and common areas clean and well maintained
* Secure the facility and equipment at the end of shifts
* Provide first aid as an emergency responder
What You'll Bring
You're friendly, reliable and committed to high‐quality service. Ideally, you'll bring:
* Knowledge of golf rules, course etiquette and accessories (essential)
* Experience in cash handling and good numeracy skills (essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of WHS standards in a recreation environment
* Experience working in a golf facility (desirable)
* IT experience with golf management or similar systems (desirable)
* National Police Clearance (essential)
* Relevant leisure or sport‐industry studies (desirable)
