About the Role An immediate opportunity is available for a WHS Manager to lead safety on a major road and intersection upgrade project in Melbourne. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive safety performance across a live construction environment, ensuring compliance, managing risk and supporting site teams to deliver safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
* Lead site safety across civil construction activities and live works
* Identify and manage risks through inspections, audits and hazard analysis
* Implement and maintain the Safety Management Plan
* Manage incidents, investigations and WorkSafe interface
* Drive safety training, inductions and SWMS approvals
* Monitor compliance across WHS legislation, standards and project requirements
Skills & Experience
* Diploma (or equivalent) in Workplace Health & Safety
* Proven experience in civil construction / infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance and risk management
* Experience across audits, incident investigations and safety systems
* Ability to influence site teams, supervisors and project leadership
* White Card, Driver's Licence, First Aid and CPR required
