About the Role
This hands‐on role is ideal for experienced AV professionals who thrive in fast‐paced live event environments and enjoy delivering technically outstanding productions. You'll be responsible for the set‐up, operation, and pack down of professional audio, lighting, and vision systems while delivering events ranging from corporate functions and gala dinners to concerts, conferences, and large‐scale productions.
Working closely with clients, venue teams, and production crews, you'll play a key role in ensuring every event is delivered safely, smoothly, and to the highest standard.
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an AV Event Technician in live events, corporate production, venue operations, or touring environments.
* Strong operational experience with professional production consoles and systems, including GrandMA3.
* Experience across audio, lighting, and vision production systems.
* Strong understanding of live event workflows, signal flow, troubleshooting, and show delivery.
* Experience with projection systems, media playback, live switching, and presentation technologies.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to remain calm and adaptable in high‐pressure live environments.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Ability to multitask and meet tight event deadlines.
* Strong communication and client service skills.
* Professional presentation and attention to detail.
* Reliable, proactive, and team‐oriented approach.
* Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Licences & Certifications
* Elevated Work Platform 11m (highly desirable)
* Dogman, Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging certification (highly desirable)
* Forklift licence (highly desirable)
