On behalf of one of our clients, a highly respected blasting services company, we are seeking experienced Leading Hand MPU Operators on a permanent basis to work on projects throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields region.

About the Role
The Leading Hand MPU Operator supports the Site Supervisor in meeting production, safety, and compliance requirements, provides relief during absences, and assumes supervisory responsibility on night shifts to ensure operational continuity and adherence to site standards.
Duties
* Preparation and delivery of TBT / PSI meetings
* Skilled operation of MPU in all augured and pumped products to specification
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant site procedures / SWP for safe operation of equipment and use of blasting products
* Possesses QA / QC, calibration and product specification competencies
Requirements
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite and corporate systems)
* G2 implementation of risk management
* First aid certified
* Valid manual HR licence
* WA security clearance
* Valid dangerous goods driver licence
* Valid high-risk forklift licence
* Sound knowledge of dangerous goods and explosives legislation
* Shotfirer licence and relevant experience (desirable)
* Willing to obtain a national police clearance
* Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical & DAS
