Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly self‐motivated person to provide direct support to schools on a range of infrastructure and facilities programs. This includes upgrades, new school builds, as well as maintenance and enrolment management. To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated excellent communication and problem‐solving skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others. In addition, you will be a self‐starter who shows initiative as well as a good team player who contributes to a positive and respectful team culture.

Schools and Regional Services offers central, regional and local expertise to enhance learning outcomes. It comprises 17 areas within 4 regions and collaborates with 5 central office divisions to deliver improved outcomes for early childhood services, schools, communities and learners.
About the Role
The Senior Provision and Planning Officer will report to the Manager – Provision and Planning and work with other officers to ensure high quality and consistent approaches to the following:
* Accurate implementation of the Enrolment Policy and consistent approaches to the management of Government school accommodation.
* Analysis and monitoring of the accommodation needs of Government schools.
* Advocacy for additional accommodation where required.
* Provision of support for schools with Emergency Maintenance applications and processes.
* Support VSBA and schools with the implementation of the Rolling Facilities Evaluation, Capital Works and Asset Management Planning Processes.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience in facilities management in the Victorian Public Sector is preferred. Full driver's licence is required.
