Lead the implementation of security controls within cloud, DevOps, and network environments. Provide technical consulting and design input across security and network platforms. Support deployments and changes — including some flexibility for after-hours work as required. Operate as a subject matter expert, working autonomously and collaboratively within an Agile team. Contribute to the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices. Drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities in network security engineering, leveraging scripting, APIs, and intelligent analytics to streamline operations, enhance threat detection, and improve delivery efficiency. About You You’re a seasoned Security Engineer or Network Security Specialist with experience supporting enterprise-scale environments. You’re technically strong, a great communicator, and enjoy working across teams to embed secure solutions. We’d love to see: 5–8 years of experience in network security, cloud security, or infrastructure security roles. Strong experience with one or more major firewall platforms (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, Juniper, Checkpoint). Solid hands-on skills in routing & switching (e.g. OSPF, BGP, VLANs, port channels, VRFs). Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and CI/CD or DevOps security practices. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong capability in driving automation and AI-enabled capabilities within network security engineering, leveraging scripting, APIs, and intelligent analytics to streamline operations, enhance threat detection, and improve delivery efficiency. Nice to have (but not required): Exposure to SR-MPLS or carrier-grade networking. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or similar.
