Role: Field Engineer / Deployment Technicians - L1 & L2 IT Rollout Project
Location: Newcastle Area
The Role
We're seeking experienced Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale IT hardware refresh across multiple hospital sites in the Newcastle metro area.
This is a hands on role involving device installation, user setup, and equipment removal.
Key Responsibilities
Unpack and prepare current devices in central storage areas
Transport devices to user areas and perform installation
Connect monitors and peripherals (standard and costed configurations)
Boot up devices and assist users with initial login
Remove old equipment and return to central storage
Dispose of packaging materials at designated customer disposal areas
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Level 1/ Level 2 IT support or hardware deployment
Solid communication skills and a proactive, can do attitude
Comfortable with removing and handling IT equipment in clinical environments
Coordinating daily schedules and reporting progress
Technicians must be mobile across Newcastle metro
Valid driver's license and reliable transport preferred
