The Person We Are Looking For
This is an exciting opportunity within Field Air as we continue to grow the team in our sales department, having recently moved to a new facility.
The successful candidate will need high attention to detail and will be required to assist both the sales and maintenance teams by procuring and providing accurate pricing, parts and technical assistance.
This person should be a good communicator with a high level of personal & computer skills with the ability to work as part of a small and progressive sales team.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Aircraft Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the interpretation and timely issuing of parts to our customers & engineering staff as well as dealing with incoming queries and orders in an efficient and professional manner.
Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
Core Role Elements
* Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately identifying and sourcing the required parts of aircraft including Air Tractor's, Cessna's, Piper's & Beechcraft.
* Engage with customers both over the phone and email to accurately identify their needs and deliver suitable solutions.
* Monitor and control inventory, handle order workflows, and ensure timely availability of parts to support customer and operational demands.
* Providing pricing, parts & technical assistance to the sales & maintenance team.
* Co-ordinating purchase of parts, materials and consumables.
* Quality compliance.
* Managing freight accounts.
Key Attributes
* A commitment to customer service & delivery.
* Strong computer skills, including experience with Excel and inventory management software.
* Attention to detail in work standards.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Previous experience as a parts interpreter within the material handling industry or similar.
* An aviation background is welcomed but not necessary.
* Knowledge of Aerotrack or similar inventory management software.
* A Certificate III in Auto Sales or experience with engineer drawings.
* Forklift licence and experience.
Hours of Work
This role is advertised as permanent full time on a Monday to Friday basis.
