About the Role:
To deliver our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a business development professional to identify, develop and execute hire contracts with our clients across the regions that we operate.
We're keen to talk to anyone who has a desire to operate at the forefront of our client relationships, engaging with them to understand how Salmon Earthmoving can support their objectives in the bulk earthmoving, civil and/or mining project space. In this position you will be reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, leading and managing the growth of the business and all new business opportunities.
Based in our Stapylton head office, this role will include frequent travel throughout the eastern states and into central and western Australia where required to understand the projects and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying new opportunities within the bulk civil, mining and infrastructure sectors with existing and prospective clients.
* Developing strategic engagement plans for our clients with support from the administration and management teams.
* Plan, implement and evaluate customer engagements and sales activities across the business.
* Generating leads and researching market movements, identifying prospective projects and clients.
* Preparing proposals and managing tender responses, presentations and business pitches.
* Representing the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities alongside members of our team.
* Providing input at the senior management level regarding client drivers and market trends that deliver outstanding customer experiences.
