Role Overview Position Type: Full Time Permanent Start Date: Term 1, 2027 Location: Sirius College Melbourne and Regional Victoria (multiple campuses) Subject Areas / Year Levels: English (Senior), Years 7-12 Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions. Role Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons across senior secondary year levels Teach VCE English and EAL/D (Units 1-4) with confidence and subject expertise Foster a love of literature, language and critical thinking across all year levels Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college requirements Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum planning, text selection and moderation Contribute to the broader school community through pastoral care and co-curricular engagement About You You're a qualified teacher who: Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply) Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing How to Get Started Are you ready to take the next step in your teaching career?
