Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance obligations, and driving continuous improvement across accounting processes.Key responsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Month End ProcessesPayroll & ComplianceAccounts Receivable, Payable & ReconciliationsAsset ManagementBudgeting & ForecastingAssist with submission of Director and Staff expense claims and credit card reconciliationsManage and prepare disbursements of costs for the practicePrepare and lodge monthly payroll tax reportingManagement of staff timesheetsMaintenance of Asset RegisterAssist with the preparation of BASStreamline processes and improve efficienciesProvide ad hoc financial support and analysis as required by the businessWhat we are looking forBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCA or CPA qualified (or working towards qualification)2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting roleStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skills and a confident professional mannerEffective time management and the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlinesAnalytical and problem‐solving mindsetIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsProfessional and positive approach to work, with a client service focusExperience with Xero and FYIAdvanced Excel skillsPrior experience in a professional services or legal/accounting firm environment highly regarded#J-18808-Ljbffr
