The Opportunity
We are seeking a customer-focused electrical engineer to join our successful Electronics Division.
The role will involve integrating engineer-to-order solutions designed to be fit for purpose, fully compliant and meeting our customer's expectations regarding functionality, safety, performance and reliability.
This opportunity is located at our Cameron Park office.
Responsibilities
Integrate engineer-to-order solutions across multiple industries.
Provide specialist engineering with respect to hazardous area electronic design techniques, IS assessments, hardware selection and safety solutions.
Provision of high-level project management and project engineering for high-profile projects involving mine-wide gas systems, control and monitoring solutions, battery charger systems, SCADA/PLC integration, VOIP and IP solutions.
Ensure the final product is of high quality, robust, suitable for its intended environment, and manufactured cost-effectively and profitably.
Qualifications
Electrical trade qualifications.
Degree or Diploma level qualifications in electrical or electronics engineering.
Demonstrated experience in resolving problems.
Strong interpersonal skills.
3+ years experience in the mining or manufacturing industry.
Experience with Australian and international standards, particularly regarding intrinsic safety.
