About the Role
An established architecture practice based in Kent Town is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join their growing team. This is an excellent prospect for a detail-driven professional who is confident working across multiple project stages and producing high-quality architectural documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications across DA / Planning, Design Development, Tender, and Construction stages.
Develop accurate construction details aligned with NCC / BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
Coordinate with engineers, services consultants, certifiers, and local councils, including addressing RFIs.
Maintain BIM / Revit models, uphold drawing standards, and manage document control and revisions.
Assist with materials selection, FF&E; schedules, compliance checks, and respond to site-based queries.
Contribute to quality assurance, OH&S; requirements, and internal practice standards
Skills & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field.
2–5+ years of architectural documentation experience (Australian experience highly regarded).
Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD or ArchiCAD also considered).
Excellent construction detailing skills and high documentation accuracy.
Solid understanding of NCC / BCA, relevant Australian Standards, and council processes.
Strong communication, organisation, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines.
