Greater Shepparton City Council's Children's Services is seeking a full-time Early Childhood – Second in Charge/Educational Leader at Frank Pullar Children's Centre. This role is based in the service office working alongside a full time service leader and administration officer.
The initial hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an Accrued Day Off (ADO). We can also offer a 9 day fortnight option, ongoing professional development, extensive induction process, support and mentorship with our leadership team, regular networking opportunities
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Service Leader and team to implement a holistic, play-based curriculum, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes children's interests, culture, and abilities, leading the development of a high-quality educational program, and supporting the Service Leader in operational requirements.
The service offers 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs, Long Day Care services, and Maternal and Child Health services.
Successful applicants must hold:
* A minimum of Diploma of early Childhood Education and Care
* Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
* Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
* Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
* Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
