Position Overview
Providing high level support and advice to schools, school communities and key stakeholders in the implementation of culturally responsive programmes and initiatives to strengthen teaching practice and improve academic outcomes for Aboriginal students. The Department may direct you to undertake classroom teaching and lesson preparation as required.
Eligibility
This position is designated for the employment of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. The initiative is authorised by the Department's Equal Employment Opportunity Management Plan in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti‐Discrimination Act 1977.
Work Details
Temporary full‐time appointment for up to three (3) years. Location: Tamworth (Regional NSW‐Tamworth & North West NSW). Work type: Full‐time.
Remuneration Package
Total: $182,921. Package includes salary ($149,059 – $161,377), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Child‐Related Role
A Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance and a National Criminal Record Check are required.
