About the Ready Resource team: Proudly owned and operated within Western Australia, starting in 2005 from small beginnings, to being the number 1 choice for our major mining clients.
We are currently seeking Auto Electricians to join the Ready's team for ongoing field service, backfill, ad hoc, and shutdown crews at the Newman 6753 mine site in Perth, Western Australia.
Qualifications
* Auto Electrician with 3+ years of relevant experience post-trade.
* Holder of Recognized Australian Trade Certificate – Cert 3 Automotive Electrical Technology AUR30320
* Current driver's license (C class minimum)
* Committed to safety, quality, and best practices.
* Effective management and monitoring of on‐site equipment
* High Risk License LF, DG, EWP, and WAH preferred but not essential.
Job Duties
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and associated control devices.
* Undertake electrical repairs on various vehicles and plant, both 12‐volt & 24‐volt systems.
* Repair parts and equipment when needed.
* Diagnostics & fault finding, use of scan tools.
* Order parts and equipment as necessary.
* Using testing equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
* Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
* Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors.
* Identify repairs required via unfair wear and tear, and advise the service manager and foreman mechanic.
