Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Osteopath who is Comcare accredited and has proven experience managing Comcare files, to deliver recovery and return‐to‐work services within the Comcare scheme. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs and providing effective solutions and strategies to ensure safe, sustainable returns to work, either with their current employer or a new employer, as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation and recovery journey.
Responsibilities
* Assess and document client needs, risks, and progress.
* Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
* Deliver physical rehabilitation services, including pre‐employment assessments and functional capacity evaluations.
* Coordinate return‐to‐work planning, liaising with stakeholders and providing reports within the Comcare scheme.
* Support clients' safe return to work with their same employer or with a new employer.
* Travel to client locations as required; a current vehicle and driver's licence are necessary.
Qualifications
* Current Comcare workplace rehabilitation provider accreditation (essential).
* Proven end‐to‐end experience managing Comcare files, including planning, stakeholder liaison and reporting.
* Registered in one of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy.
* Ability to conduct pre‐employment assessments, functional capacity evaluations and other employer‐requested paid services.
* Inclusive and integrative attitude toward engaging with culturally and linguistically diverse clients and stakeholders.
* Passion for empowering people to achieve health and wellness goals.
* Willingness to travel; current vehicle and driver's licence required.
* Current or ability to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
