Overview
The Volunteer Administration Support role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the organisation. Volunteers in this role provide friendly, reliable, and efficient administrative assistance to support staff, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Providing general administrative support such as answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails in a professional and courteous manner. Volunteers assist with booking appointments, coordinating meeting times, and welcoming clients and visitors when they arrive, helping to create a positive and supportive first impression.
Record Management
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including data entry into internal systems, filing, and organising documents. Volunteers may assist with preparing basic documents, correspondence, and reports as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
Additional Duties
Supporting team scheduling, assisting with general office tasks such as organising supplies, and helping with the preparation and coordination of meetings or events. Volunteers may also provide occasional support to staff with special projects or administrative tasks as needed.
