Overview
Raytheon Australia is a trusted capability partner delivering complex engineering projects for the Australian Defence Force. We are seeking Senior Technicians to support the Woomera Test Range Support Services (WTRSS) program. The Field ICT Technician will conduct planned and corrective maintenance, technical investigations, and support configuration change activities for communication and mission systems, and support deployment of mission system equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Windows domain administration.
* Configuration and troubleshooting of complex network environments.
* Domain user support with a focus on high system availability.
* Liaison with engineering staff to conduct engineering and maintenance services for customers.
* Undertake travel as required, both within Australia and internationally.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Information Technology, Electronics/Telecommunications or similar qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years of post‐qualification relevant experience.
* Experience administering virtualised environments.
* Understanding of data interface standards and protocols.
* Experience with Linux command line interface.
* Experience with Cisco network devices.
* Experience with troubleshooting tools such as WireShark (desirable).
* Familiarity with ISM, PSPF and basic cyber security principles (highly desirable).
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance. Eligibility criteria can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva.
