Mandurah Medical Centre are a family practice located in the heart of Mandurah and have been part of the community for more than 40 years. We have long term staff which include a team of experienced Nurses, a team of friendly and professional administration staff, and a highly regarded team of up to 10 GP's.
You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient maintenance of company Xero file, including a fortnightly payroll for up to 20 employees, weekly payroll for contract doctors, lodgment of ATO obligations including monthly PAYG, quarterly BAS and monthly superannuation payments.
You will work closely alongside the Practice Manager providing essential updates to the Directors on any financial or building related matters. Part of the role incudes essential administrative duties which help to keep the practice running smoothly and your working days will be varied and interesting.
There will be times where you will be required to liaise with patients and suppliers via phone, email and in person.
The role is currently Monday-Wednesday, 9am till 3:30pm, these hours can be discussed to suit the right candidate.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
* min 2 years accounts and payroll experience
* Experience with ATO lodgments and requirements including PAYG, BAS and superannuation
* Intermediate Excel
* Accounts Payable/receivable
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Understanding of relevant accounting principles and regulations
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge and experience with Trusts
* Experience working in a medical centre or health service setting
* Knowledge of Tanda timeclock and rostering cloud based software
* Knowledge of medical software Best Practice
