Overview
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic legal receptionist/accounts assistant for our firm.
This will be a varied position working alongside friendly co-workers. This is a full-time role. Business hours will be 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Exceptional customer service, including meeting and greeting clients
* Upkeep of reception area and meeting rooms
* Assist the legal staff with administration tasks: opening/creating files, photocopying, scanning, sorting and collating documents
* Liaising with clients over the phone, making appointments, diary management
* Receipting payments for our Accounts Department and providing coverage for some of the other accounts functions.
* Maintaining & ordering office supplies
* Assisting with events and co-ordinating catering
* Organisational skills, to manage multi-tasking with a 'can-do' attitude
Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in a reception or administration role
* Ability to think on your feet and use own initiative to troubleshoot issues
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Well-presented and punctual
* A professional phone manner
* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
* Strong attention to detail, demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn
* Experience with using Microsoft suites and LEAP is an advantage
* Previous reception experience in a law firm is an advantage
* Bookkeeping experience will be highly regarded.
