Role Overview
Your role as a Personal Banker (known internally as a Customer Relationship Officer) is to deliver an exceptional experience by meeting customers' end‐to‐end banking needs. This is a permanent, full‐time position located in Cowes. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities
* Deliver win‐win solutions for the bank and customers.
* Develop expert understanding of customers' current and future goals and design solutions that meet their needs and interests.
* Educate and support customers with digital literacy and online banking as innovations emerge.
* Guide customers through personalised lending solutions, including tailored personal loans and credit card options.
* Build connections within the community and support local initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role
To succeed, you'll consistently deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate:
* Proven ability to achieve sales results through solutions that meet customers' needs.
* Confidence communicating with new and existing customers face‐to‐face and over the phone.
* The ability to quickly build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues.
* Eagerness to understand and share what makes our bank different.
* Drive for collaboration – teamwork is crucial to reach our goals.
* Experience in consumer lending – a plus but not essential.
