In this role, you'll drive proactive and reactive earned media across NOVA Entertainment's brands, including broadcast, DAB+, Nova Podcasts and Nova's Red Room live music events. You'll bring fresh thinking to each project, identifying story opportunities that deliver results and elevate talent, content and partnerships across consumer and trade media.

Reporting into the Head of Communications and working closely with on‐air talent and cross‐functional teams across Programming, Promotions, Podcasting, Digital and Commercial, you'll help shape how NOVA shows up externally, responding quickly and delivering impactful earned media outcomes that strengthen our brand and reputation.

In practice this looks like:

* Driving earned media coverage across Nova's Melbourne‐based and national broadcast shows, DAB+ stations and live music experiences including Nova's Red Room
* Collaborating closely with talent and Programming to develop and execute impactful PR outcomes for our broadcast shows and talent
* Supporting the growth of the Nova Podcast Network by amplifying original and licensed content and building talent profiles
* Amplifying NOVA partnerships and commercial initiatives
* Building and maintaining strong relationships across consumer and trade media
* Building and delivering regular reporting on earned media performance
* Working as part of a small, agile Communications team and showing up, pitching in and contributing to shared success
* Bringing a positive mindset to the team, celebrating wins and maintaining momentum in a fast‐paced environment

* Being aware of talent needs and team priorities and pressures and adapting your approach to drive the best outcome
* Understanding what journalists value in terms of timing, angles and relevance
* Knowing how to position shows and talent in a way that is authentic to them and their audience
* Supporting cross‐functional collaboration and identifying opportunities that align with broader business priorities
* Contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment and a willingness to help wherever needed

Skills that help you succeed in this role:

* You bring 5+ years of experience in PR or communications
* You have established media relationships and a track record of delivering impactful earned media results
* You're confident working with talent and senior stakeholders, building trust and navigating priorities with professionalism
* You have competent writing skills, great attention to detail and are able to deliver high‐quality written materials at paceYou're experienced in building and delivering earned media reporting and using tools including Excel to keep work on track
* You can juggle multiple priorities, stay composed under pressure and are comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment
* You bring a genuine enthusiasm for media, entertainment and audio
