As a registered NDIS service provider, we operate across Geraldton, the Midwest and Gascoyne regions, and Perth (Aveley, Ellenbrook, The Vines, Henley Brook, Belhus).
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged and Disabled Carer to join our team. In this role, you will provide personal care, daily living assistance, and emotional support to elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain independence and quality of life in community and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities
* Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
* Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when required
* Arranging and supporting social and recreational activities
* Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning, and laundry
* Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
* Providing companionship, friendship, and emotional support
* Assisting with shopping and running errands
* May provide live-in care depending on client needs
Requirements
* AQF Certificate II or III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or related field), or
* At least one year of relevant experience
* Compassionate, patient, and client-focused approach
* Ability to support clients with dignity and respect
* Good communication and teamwork skills
