1 position – Full‐time equivalent 1.000. Total remuneration package valued at $168,946.00 (base salary $149,059.00 plus leave loading and superannuation contribution).
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and instructional leadership for the Creative and Performing Arts Team including Music, Visual Arts, VET Entertainment, and the broader Music Program. Ensure high‐quality teaching and learning across the faculty.

Specific Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated ability to provide strong educational leadership to a diverse team, fostering high expectations, promoting quality teaching and learning, and driving student engagement across all relevant musical genres/programs.
* Demonstrated commitment to the care of young musicians by maintaining a close awareness of their wellbeing, including managing the dual academic and musical demands of a high‐pressure high‐potential general education environment.
* Demonstrated expertise in leading the development, implementation, and continuous review of comprehensive music curricula for Years 7–12, ensuring alignment with NESA syllabus requirements and the educational needs of gifted learners.
* Demonstrated leadership in managing a comprehensive and high‐quality music enrichment program, including delivery of one‐to‐one tuition in partnership with highly qualified specialist teachers and educational partners.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
Additional Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach by the NSW Department of Education is required.
