Senior Network Solution Architect Job Description
Are you a highly skilled and certified network professional with deep expertise in designing and deploying complex network architectures? We are seeking a Senior Network Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and implementation of secure network infrastructure for our Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communication System.
About The Role:
This position is responsible for delivering a resilient, multi-domain network architecture that supports mission-critical communications across geographically dispersed Defence sites. You will collaborate closely with Systems Engineers, Cyber Security experts, and external vendors to ensure the network design meets stringent security, performance and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the requirements and design for the network architecture of the mission system element for a defence system.
2. Deliver a robust network architecture, with support from our Cyber Security partners and vendors to provide the design for a multiple security domain network that integrates with other defence networks across a regionally diverse set of locations.
3. Work with Systems Engineers to contribute to all Design and Process documentation.
4. Support the Security Accreditation of the system providing SME advice regarding the implementation of the network controls.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance.
2. Network design and Deployment experience within complex switch and routing environments.
3. CCNP or CCIE.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Firewall design and deployment.
2. Working experience with Cisco VXLAN and ACI.
3. Background in either Defence/ Defence Industry.
