Overview
As a Boilermaker (Bin Shop) at Wilmar Sugar and Renewables, you'll be responsible for fabricating rolling stock equipment including maintenance and repairs on cane bins and locomotives.
This permanent position is based at Plane Creek Mill in North Queensland, Sarina. This location offers access to outdoor activities and a relaxed lifestyle.
This position follows a year-round day work roster pattern (with RDOs most Fridays) and may require some weekend work and overtime.
Your Role in Action
* Keep Things Running Smoothly: Provide timely, safe, and efficient maintenance services, tackling both planned and unplanned jobs, and ensuring high standards are met.
* Evaluate and Improve Assets: Help assess the lifespan and performance of our assets.
* Keep Documentation Spot On: Ensure work orders, permits, timesheets, and reports are completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance and efficiency.
* Uphold Quality and Teamwork: Work within a collaborative environment, conducting inspections, identifying problems, and implementing improvements to ensure the highest quality standards.
Your Winning Combination
The successful applicant must have completed a Certificate III Qualification in Fabrication and hold a current C Class Driver A0Licence. Bonus points for applicants who have a Forklift, Overhead Crane, Rigger, Dogger and/or EWP High Risk Work licences.
