Join the Smithton AG Warehouse Team
Join our friendly and growing team as a Senior Rural Sales Assistant in Smithton, TAS. In this role, you will be part of a small, close‐knit team on site and over 3,000 colleagues across Australia.
Responsibilities
* Providing genuine customer service and assisting customers with pricing and product queries.
* Processing point of sale (POS) transactions.
* Assisting with store setup and merchandise displays.
* Receiving inwards goods, unpacking orders, and deliveries.
* Performing general banking tasks.
* Occasionally performing heavy lifting tasks.
Qualifications
* Experience in retail and a strong understanding of rural farming, or similar.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to build solid relationships.
* Exposure to stock control is advantageous but not essential.
* Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office.
* Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
