Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.***About this Program**The Grampians Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) program is a collaborative service between Wellways and Grampians Health Services.The service is a step-down and step-up sub-acute mental health service for those within the catchment areas of Grampians Health. YPARCs are in a community setting and provide an option for people who are becoming unwell, or who are in the early stages of recovery from an acute illness and need a short period of additional support to strengthen their gains from spending time in an inpatient setting. They are supported to consolidate their community transition and recovery treatment plans.**About the opportunity**As Senior recovery worker, you'll be responsible for supporting the ongoing development of the YPARC team, contributing to the program effectiveness and working with YPARC participants both within the keywork model and in a group setting.Key responsibilities include:* Working within a keywork model to provide 1:1 support with YPARC participants, including developing individual recovery plans and working towards identified goals during their stay* Supporting a multidisciplinary approach including participation in clinical reviews; coordinating midway reviews with key support including family, friends, clinicians or other support services* Providing practice supervision to Recovery Workers, including supervision sessions and facilitation of monthly team reflective practice.* Providing operational supervision to overnight and later shift YPARC Recovery Workers, with guidance and support from the Program Coordinator.* Facilitating groups within the YPARC model using Wellways session plans and resources* Assisting with maintenance of the roster, coordinating casual coverage where required, assisting with recruitment, orientation and training of new staff* Ensuring that operational and administrative requirements are met including regular reporting requirements and records maintenance.**You will also need:*** Diploma in Mental Health, AOD, or a related community services field, and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience* Prior experience working within the Mental Health industry or community-based organisation* Current and valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake some travel* Appropriate IT skills* Satisfactory National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check* Right to Work within Australia* 100 points of ID* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check**About Us** Wellways connects people, strengthens families, and transforms communities for individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing.
